In most cases, Terry can set down with you and give you a rough estimate on your ideas within minutes. If you can tell us the style, square footage, size of garage, and answer some material preferences of the proposed home, we will give you a printed “guess-timate” form that is usually within 5% hi or low of actual cost. This is not a competitive bid, but it will let you know if you are looking in the correct price "ballpark".
You may have two, three, or more homes you would like an idea of cost on, Terry will be glad to give you that “guess-timate” on each and every proposed home. If you will meet Terry at his home office, he will give you a printed copy of each of these “guess-timates” for you to keep and compare.
Through this processes you will find if building fits you home buying budget and needs. You will go away with a better understanding of what types of options in a new home are more or less costly. Some styles of homes fit different budgets better than others. You may want to compare what a single level home costs compared to a two level home with the same amount of square footage. Would a tri-level home fit your budget better than a ranch style? How would a two story home compare to those homes. Approximately how much more would six panel doors cost. If you can think of a building question, this a great time to get it answered.
